You can call me Pris :)
My connection to well-being is rooted in a journey of discovery and skepticism. Growing up, I learned that financial success and well-being often seemed mutually exclusive, requiring sacrifices. Financial resilience was the primary focus, making well-being seem like a luxury. The current economic system reinforces this dichotomy, valuing profit over people. Yet, I’ve believed that there’s a better way to integrate these aspects, and this conviction has driven many of my unconventional life decisions.
My professional journey reflects this pursuit. After working with esteemed institutions like Goldman Sachs and Deloitte, I transitioned to venture building and joined Reapra in May 2017. This shift allowed me to break free from the constraints of traditional finance, where short-termism often hindered long-term value creation, causing deeper disconnection in our society. In the last decade, I’ve had the privilege of engaging with over 500 entrepreneurs and supporting 50+ businesses across Asia Pacific in the last decade.
Through my work with entrepreneurs at Reapra, I’ve begun to explore the complexities of well-being. I’ve come to realize that my early associations with material wealth were rooted in the perception of scarcity in my upbringing and cultural background. What does well-being truly mean for me, for others, and for society in the future – beyond circumstance or socioeconomic status? Can we create a society that thrives on well-being, or are we at the mercy of the current system?
My vision is to co-create a future where businesses can achieve financial success as a result of nurturing deeper human connections with each other and our environment. Cultivating a more sustainable economic system that values human connection, is essential for our well-being. I hope to empower CEOs to reimagine capitalism for the next generation. I’m starting my practice by experimenting with the integration of business and human data to generate insights for businesses to care for what truly matters.
