Navin Amarasuriya
You can call me Nav :)
Navin Amarasuriya is the CEO of the Contentment Foundation, where he works with educators and researchers to bring evidence-based wellbeing practices into schools across the world. His journey began in the luxury goods industry, but gradually shifted toward a deeper inquiry: how lived experience shapes meaning. This path has led him into the fields of engineering, phenomenology, and contemplative education.
Navin also supports efforts such as the EtonHouse Community Fund (empowering vulnerable children), the Center for Contemplative Research (bridging long-term retreat practice with science), and Dharma Gates (creating access to deep meditation for young adults). For him, wellbeing is not a destination, but a way of walking, especially in times of uncertainty. He’s grateful to meet fellow travelers drawn to the quiet, often invisible work of tending to inner life and outer systems with presence and care.
